Prototype Playtesting!

Before the mid-week review, I had a chance to get random people to play my game at a meet up I went to.  I had them play my game and I got some feedback on how to improve it:

The positive feedback I received was mostly on the overall level design and how much I had put into it to make it seem like a proper jungle level.  Another positive note was the two different attack options, they liked the opportunity to switch between punching and shooting the AI's.

The major criticism I received was that some of the actions weren't clear enough, such as the shooting aim, I will attempt to adjust the shooting mechanic to show the bullets and there direction more clearly.  Another crit was the lack of instruction's, mainly the fact I had to tell everyone how to use the controls, I plan to add in non combat AI's that tell the controls and the mission objective.  One of the play testers wished they could have a bit more interaction with the AI's, saying that it was too easy to complete the level, I will make alterations to the AI's making it so you have it hit them a few times to destroy them instead of just once.
