While this project had me focusing on completing my work, I managed to find time to go to a number of life drawing lessons in order to improve my anatomical skills and understanding of the human figure. These lessons also helped out a lot when I was doing the 2D anatomy specialism project before the Christmas holidays. These first two images are quick 3-5 minute sketch's of a person in a number of poses, for some of these I wish I could have a bit more time to get the figure right. Image 3 was done in charcoal and chalk, I prefer to do all my drawings in pencil, so I struggled a bit when it came to detail. Images 4 and 5 are full body drawings, lasting between 10 minutes to 2 1/2 hours on the pieces, I draw better with longer time as it helps me figure out where I should focus more on, I feel that my concept of drawing faces has improved a lot since last year.
